Walkin’ Around Checkin’ Stuff Out.
St. Genevieve.
The coolest restaurant space in town…feels like like being in France, and they have an amazing happy hour. We would go more often but somehow every time we go happy hour turns into 4 or 5 hours later.
The burger and fries, warm olives, chips with creme fraiche and cucumber labneh with strawberries were fantastic…oh, and rosé…always lots of rosé.
Pam in her happy place, living her best life and any other stupid saying you can come up for someone having a good time.
It’s always import to properly hydrate, especially when the rosé goes down like water.
Custom Van.
The beginning of summer always reminds me of being a kid and summer as a kid reminds me of 1970’s custom vans. What could be cooler?
My friends dad had one with shag carpet, a bar, a CB and an 8-track player with ELO on constant repeat.
My Old Radio.
This is the old clock radio my grandfather bought me when I was maybe 4 or 5 years old.
This thing was on 24 hours a day…I was always listening to music. When we lived in Chicago I would listen to all the soul stations in the middle of the night.
Seeing this radio again brings back so many memories and vibes.
It had a clock radio function but I’m pretty sure I sucked at using that to ever get up on time.
Comic Book Rack.
One of the handiest, smartest things I own. Given to me years ago by my good buddy Craigman it’s been in constant use ever since.
There’s always something interesting to look at if I ever need inspiration.
Although most of the stuff on it is definitely not made for kids.
Livin’ The Life.
Everybody talks about big dreams and bucket lists and whatever else, when really this lady kind of has it all figured out.
Kickin’ it on a bench around the lake with a good book is about as good as it gets.
And a cool hat helps as well.
Sniffing Spot.
The Powerline in our yard is a popular spot for all the neighborhood dogs to stop and checkin.
Davis makes sure they all know that’s his pole by peeing on that thing 4 or 5 times a day.
Crazy Bike.
Someone is going to have to explain to me how this crazy bike makes sense. It looks like it’s made to go 150mph, and maybe it is…but when I saw it the dude was going maybe 7mph.
Seems like a lot to accomplish what a regular bike can do, but what do I know.
Hard to believe today is the longest day of the year…I gotta get out there and get as much summer as I can, while I can.

I had that same clock radio!
We had that same clock radio too!!
