I love bookstores, and this one in Stillwater is my favorite. I find something cool every time I’m in this place. They have great art books and interesting cool old used stuff. The place is super cozy and makes me want to crash out with some books for a few hours like grandma did.

Rincon 38.

We were craving paella and there aren’t many places in town that have it. Rincon 38 does. We hadn’t been there in years which is bad on us because the paella was really good. We’ve been missing out because we turned around and got a second order. The space is real small and packed and felt like date night for everyone there. A young couple next to us was clearly on their first date and the couple at the end of the bar were celebrating years of many dates.

Sweet Ride.

This sweet old dude was riding through the neighborhood in style. That, is a sweet ride.

Vape Dude.

On the opposite end of the spectrum of dudes driving cars…I saw this dude rollin’ through the neighborhood with his vape pen, mirrored shades and hockey hair driving a Dodge Challenger. Exact same type of dude I would have seen driving through our neighborhood in the 1970’s.

Distracted Lawn Mowing.

Everyone seems addicted to their screens. Even this kid mowing the lawn down at the park. I was waiting for a lawn mower cop to pull him over. Didn’t happen.

Soft Serve On A Hot Day.

Stillwater, MN

I was liking the oldsters hanging out in front of an ice cream shop in Stillwater like a group of kids on a hot day pooling their money to buy some stuff.

Begging Dog.

Saw this cute dog up at the coffee shop doing everything he could to keep his owners attention so he could get a treat. How do you not cave and give him something? I almost walked over and gave him a treat myself.
