This weeks theme is people…I’ve seen and met some interesting ones this week.
Kenny.
Met this guy last night at the Picnic bar. He tours the world doing lighting for bands. He mentioned a bunch of bands…Journey and Bob Dylan just to name a few. Super nice guy and style to boot.
Kenny the concert lighting dude. I want to hangout with him again and bug him for stories…I bet he’s got some good ones.
Screen time.
They always talk about kids and screen time, but I kind of think the olds are more addicted to their phones. I’ve got no problem with screen time, but around the lake on a beautiful evening?
Bored dog.
I saw this little dude laying in the middle of the walking path while his owner talked to a friend.
Snappy dresser.
I saw this couple on a bench at the Lake Harriet Bandshell and she seemed to get dialed-up for the occasion. Sitting down from them was a woman who brought her own cooler full of drinks…I guess that makes her dialed-up, but in a different way.
Snappy dresser, part 2.
Not to be outdone by our friend at the Bandshell, this woman came to the lake lookin’ super sharp…she’s got the tinted shades, the hat, the star shirt…that’s how it’s done.
Coffeeshop couple.
I saw this cute couple hanging out in a young hipster coffeeshop. They were married but acted like they were on a date. I noticed her name written on her cup: Angel.
Cute old lady at a hipster coffeeshop meeting her husband who was on break from security guard duty.
Cool old dude scoping the coffeeshop bulletin board for stuff to do with his wife.
Red shoes.
Interesting fashion choice for someone headed into an office building in downtown Minneapolis, and as far as I know there’s no strip club in that building. I have to give her credit…she walked really well in those things.
Bus stop.
Bus stops are always great for people watching. There’s always a good mix of people from all different walks of life.
Fun to hear about Angel's date with her husband. I'm inspired to invite my wife Kris out for coffee!
