james is approachable, smart…and james knows food. we’ve all tried making stuff out of cookbooks with mixed results…(i’ve often times wondered if they actually made the thing or just ran with an untested recipe to fill pages). james gets to the bottom of it with the cookbook test, where he tries a few recipes out of a cookbook and talks about the results…what he changed, adapted etc along the way. good stuff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
joesph knows knives. it’s his passion and i respect anyone that gets in and does something really well. some nice stories, posts, observations of the knife store business…i really dig the travels to japan in search of great product to sell back in his store in minnesota. good stuff.
something good. just in name alone it’s worth a follow and frankly this is the reason i joined substack. i love emails titled ‘something good’. my first response: thank you. with all the noise and negative crap in the world it’s nice to see something good come across the internets.
